This Pigmentprint evolved out of the AFTERGLOW Series. A series of prints I did when having been fascinated by the second blossom of the plants, when they create the packaging of their seeds, the future generation.
This image is inspired by the seed stem of a flower, an Acanthus, looking at it from above.
And as always looking at nature makes me feel about the relation to the condition Humana and what is there to learn from the visible around us about the invisible in us.
So drawing each seed with a Japanese brush, made me think about the individual human being and having it connected with the whole crown of the flower its relation to all. Then the flower related to the plant with many other similar flowers consisting of many individuals and the plant itself is rooted, thus related to the motherground, the soil, the earth. All informed by the one source.
So its about honoring the individual and the relation to the whole – which inspired me to the title.. One Of All.
